As-Built Drawings
We work on As-Built Drawings for Residential DIY owners:
When planned drawings of completed construction has the annotations/call outs of what was actually built with all dimensions, locations and changes made during construction.
When your existing site has no plans and you require an As-Built Survey to create digital drawing to plan renovations for construction of those interior or exterior spaces of which we only survey architectural elements only.
ONLY when as-built drawings require mostly architectural elements to depict wall placement, doors and window sizes, room configurations, and ceiling heights - for DIY owner projects.
We do not work on As-built drawings for structural components as in footings, columns, beams, or load-bearing walls. MEP systems consisting of routing the depths of electrical, pluming lines, or HVAC systems. Nor do we conduct site and utility surveys for utility lines, grading, drainage or exterior terrain elevations.
THE LEVEL OF DETAIL & DELIVERABLES WE OFFER IS BASIC: We conduct As-Built for simple floor plans dimensioned, rooms, windows, walls, and doors of existing structures or those post-construction - not for the purpose of verification, but to create drawings of record.
DISCLOSURE: If the project requires major mechanical or structural changes; the scope expands to include full MEP systems, or any regulatory compliance or municipal permitting, or specific codes that dictate the level of technical detail required -- we recommend you hire a licensed professional engineer or architect. We work primarily on residential and small commercial services for non-licensed drafting services for DIY owners.
