Served 20 years honorably in the United States Marine Corps retiring in 2018. Thereafter, I earned education, certification, and experience in construction estimation and computer-aided drafting. Working for a local subcontractor in the aluminum and glazing industry, I gained experience and skill in drafting shop drawings and designs for commercial and government construction projects. AO Drafting & Designs was established to provide architectural drafting services and shop drawing services to small subcontractors in the aluminum and glazing industry, while also assisting architects and construction professionals in developing plans for small commercial and residential projects in both private and public sectors.

Experience & Education

Estimator & Draftsman (2019 – 2021)

Provided bid proposals and takeoffs for government and commercial aluminum and glazing projects. Managed the administration process from bid proposal to award, manufacturer quotes to purchase orders, and drafting of shops for submittal approval.

Drafting & Design Certificate Training (2018 – 2021)

Coastal Community College – Architectural Technology Program. Trained and educated in construction estimation, blueprint reading, construction materials and methods, and AutoCAD and residential architecture technology for generating construction drawings.

Retired Military Service (1998 – 2018)

Served honorably and retired from 20 years of service in the supply and logistics field. Served in leadership roles overseeing service members, project management, budgeting, organization of equipment, and movement of supplies, services, and personnel to sustain military and civilian personnel.
